Yamatoking

I thought it would be nice to make a journal entry after 7 years. Compared to the early 2010s my art looks really different, since I adopted a new way of creating my pictures. For years I was trying to copy the common way of western fanarts that I saw online when I joined the digital art community around 2002. Clean outlines and way to much emphasis on sterile coloring. Some artists where really good at this kind of stuff, but I never felt at ease with it and my art ended up being very stiff: So I was diving very deep into my thoughts, to realize what got me into drawing in the first place. And that was watching 80s/90s anime on tv as kid. I

I decided to upload my comic Ghostdemonster here on Deviantart aswell. Until just recently the english version was only available in Smackjeeves. But since that website has a really confusing layout I tought it would be a nice idea to upload it here on Deviantart aswell. Drawing comics and inventing my own characters and stories has always been one of my favorite hobbies. I already published some short stories in the past for the german publisher Schwarzer Turm but even though the projects where nice I always felt limited. Limited in presenting my characters and their stories the way they are supposed to. Therefore I started my own webcomic

I know it's been a while since a wrote something here or uploaded new comic pages on smackjeeves of my comic Ghostdemonster, but at the moment I'm totally into pokemon again. So I had to write this review. I'm following the anime since the beginning and even after my favorite character Misty left I may stopped watching it regulary, but I never really lost completly interest in the franchise itself. And therefore I still watch some episodes from time to time. Last week the last episode of Pokemon Best Wishs aired and I really have to say it was a good one and WAY better than the transition between Diamond & Pearl and Best Wishes three yea
